The lineup for Fuck Yeah Festival (FYF) was released on June 18th, and I have to say it couldn't be more insane. Beirut, James Blake, Tanlines, Warpaint, too many to name. I've been wanting to hit this festival for a couple years now, ever since my cousin's husband told me about it himself. The beauty of the entire thing is how inexpensive it really is compared to other festivals.
Weekend passes go up for $89, which is a pocket quarter of what Coachella costs. The music is indie alternative so if it's not your scene I think you'd enjoy it anyways. And the crowds drawn are always friendly compared to some raves I've been to.
I'm not the biggest fan of L.A State Historic Park but I think it was mainly because some jackass stole my ticket when I was standing outside of HARD Summer the last time I was here. Anyways...
